This is an online blog journal of all my kitesurfing activities. I blog and log every kitesurfing session and provide information on skills progression, gear, weather and locations. I am based in Melbourne, Australia where we are blessed with good winds and some wonderful kitesurfing. I also take kitecam photos and video. I also record many sessions with a GPS.
Session 294. We headed to the inlet in the afternoon for some flat water kiting. I took out the Sector 60 board for some nice speed runs keeping an eye out for shallow water. I then swapped to the surf board so that I could cross the shallow sandbars and go for a tour.
I did a few small jumps on the Sector 60 (its heavy) and the surfboard (much easier).
The wind had dropped so there were not a lot of kiters out. Bonus session!
